Edward D. Jones opened his first office for business in downtown St. Louis in 1922, and his firm grew rapidly from there. Still based in St. Louis today, it’s now led by the firm’s sixth – and first female – Managing Partner, Penny Pennington.

Pennington began her career with Edward Jones in 2000 as a financial advisor in Livonia, Michigan and came to St. Louis in 2006 when she was promoted to principal.

She’s an active member of the community serving on numerous boards and her big ambitions for the city pale only to her ambitions for the company she leads.
