Welcome Neighbor STL provides comprehensive help to refugees in the St. Louis region. The organization led by Jessica Bueler has a philosophy of “leaving the ladder down” to help those in need. Refugees from the Middle East and Africa participate in “Supper Clubs” hosted by the organization, learn to speak English and to drive. The group has also helped refugee families find safe, affordable housing. Because of Welcome Neighbor STL, refugee families now call St. Louis their new home.
