The Gateway City’s Encore: A Roadie’s Story

A former rock n’ roll roadie from St Louis has teamed up with Gateway Studios in Chesterfield to bring the music industry back to Missouri. The 340 thousand square foot structure in the Chesterfield valley will when completed house stars like Taylor Swift, Phish and Hall and Oats as they rehearse and get ready to go on the road. Thanks to new Missouri Tax incentives Gateway Studios and Production Services is hoping the music industry will begin doing business here in the show me state again. Back in the day artists would always stop in St Louis. It was the heart of the touring music industry. Music artist make their money doing concerts. Missouri wants a piece of that pie. Thanks to Trey Kerr a former roadie who knows the business and now runs Gateway Studios they will do just that!
