Hundreds of Flags of Valor volunteers placed more than 7,600 flags on St. Louis’ Art Hill to pay tribute to the members of the United States service killed in the line of duty since 9/11. Each flag bore the photograph and dog tag of one of those brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice. Standing witness to the display, we hear the whisper flags and the clinking of dog tags asking to be read, to be remembered.
