The Show Me Arts Academy provides multi-cultural artistic development, to under-served youth, ages 5-18, under the guidance of trained professionals. Through exposure, encouragement, and structure, in a creative learning environment, they foster a sense of self-discipline, increased confidence, integrity, and a life-long appreciation for the arts. This year the academy joined forces with the Saint Paul
African Methodist Episcopal Church to spread some holiday cheer. Proving the necessary supplies for the kids, Dr. Marty K Casey guided them in making bookmarks. The activity provided a great way for the kids to decompress after the long day and offered them a chance to express themselves in a creative and fun way. The afternoon was a success!
