“Live from The Sheldon” is a free monthly virtual concert series created in partnership with The Sheldon and HEC Media. It spotlights some of the most creative local and nationally known artists. Live from the the Sheldon continues with singer-songwriter Sarah Jarosz on Saturday March 20th at 7 pm, contemporary world music legend Zakir Hussain on April 24 at 7 pm, and Grammy-winning jazz vocalist Kurt Elling on May 15 at 7 pm. The performances are simulcast on HEC’s and The Sheldon’s Facebook and YouTube pages, HEC’s website at https://hecmedia.org, and on HEC Media’s cable channels: 989 Spectrum and 99 U-verse. The concerts are also broadcast by partner venues throughout the region, with performing arts venues in Illinois, Kansas and Iowa.
